Sqarz - Free Font

How it came to be?

Sqarz is a font that has its roots in a logo design that I have made a while back. At the time, I was inspired by everything that meant roller graffiti. Big letters on big walls and so I have created the first word in this font "HINNKS". At the time, I did not have any knowledge regarding fonts ( I am not saying that right now, I am advanced either) and, I just searched for pictures with walls of graffiti and got inspired by that.

A few weeks back, some videos about font making got my attention, and I wanted to try following along and because creating my logo was the only previous experience with font making I started from there. At first, I had created all the caps letters, and I found it so fun that I continued with small letters, numbers, and symbols.

What will you get?

This font contains 4 OTF files and 4 TTF files. Inside the files, you can find a font that is thin and has a distorted (handwritten like) variation, and a thicker font that like the thin one, has distorted variations. The font contains uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, number variations, and symbols.

How to use this font?

It is recommended to be used in headlines or short typographies.
